Allanblackia butter is obtained from the seeds of the Allanblackia stuhlmannii tree. The tree is very common throughout West Africa where it is growing wild. The butter is off white in colour and has neutral odor.

Use in Cosmetics
Allanblackia Butter is suitable for cosmetic applications and can be incorporated in high quantities. It gives stable emulsions due to the uniform triglyceride composition with a high oxidative stability. It has good emollient properties making it a very suitable replacement for many synthetic emollient enhancers.
Storage
Keep in a cool (preferably below 10°C, the cooler the better), dark and dry store-room.
Shelf Life
Under optimal storage conditions, in original unopened drums/containers, minimum two years.
