Juniper Berry
Juniper Berries are actually the seed cones to a small evergreen tree related to cedar, cypress, and other coniferous trees. The whole, dark-blue berries have a pine-like aroma when crushed. They are commonly used in a sauce or syrup to accompany game meats like rabbit, quail, and venison. Can be infused in oil or alcohol for skin and hair products as juniper berries are known for producing a warm sensation on the skin. They can also be a great addition to potpourris or floral displays.
