Litsea Cubeba Oil

Litsea Cubeba Oil is a fresh essential oil with a mix of herbal, floral, with some sweet notes, along with a hint of an earthy tone as well. Litsia Cubeba oil is also known as the oil May Chang, and also as "mountain pepper."

Research shows that many formulators blend Litsea Cubeba oil blends  well with Cypress, Basil, bay, black pepper, cardamom, cedarwood, chamomile, clary sage, coriander, eucalyptus, frankincense, geranium, ginger, juniper, marjoram, orange, palmarosa, patchouli, sandalwood, tea tree, thyme, and ylang ylang.

Top note is sweet and fruity with fresh, lemony notes

Origin: China

Description: Litsea Cubeba is a plant found mainly  in tropical areas,has vibrant green leaves with a pleasant, lemon like smell. It produces a small, pepper-like fruit and that fruit is where the essential oil is extracted.

Color: Pale yellow to yellow transparent liquid.

Aromatic Scent: Litsea cubeba Essential Oil has a crisp, citrus smell. It has been compared to lemongrass and lemon verbena. It is considered sweeter and softer than lemongrass.

Cautions: Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil is possible skin irritant. Avoid use during pregnancy.
