Rose Hip Oil
Our Rosehip Seed Oil is obtained from the seeds of Rosa canina by cold pressing and subsequent refining. It is 100%, no additives or preservatives.
Rose Hip oil is rich in essential fatty acids, particularly Linoleic (C18:2) and Linolenic (C18:3). With these valuable fatty acids, and high in vitamins A and C, and readily absorbed in to skin, rosehip seed oil is a an excellent oil in so many formulations for skin care.
Used in external applications, Rosehip Seed Oil is highly effective in many cosmetic products. It can be applied directly to skin.
Rose Hip Oil is used as a skin conditioner and carrier in the cosmetic industry, because it has good penetrating properties leaving the most dry and sensitive skin smooth and relieved. It has excellent emollient quality. It has good improvement on restoring flexibility of the skin.
Many report it is useful in treating varicose veins, and as a good oil to help skin after having tattoos applied.
